Global Mission for Children, a Child Sponsorship Outreach, Announces the Addition of 21 Children from Nepal on Their Website

Bradenton, FL (Sharewellnewswire.com) September 11, 2012 - GlobalMissionforChildren.org (“GMFC”), has added 31 children to their website that need child sponsors. “It’s a fact that 30,000 children die every day from hunger and disease in Africa alone” James Miller, co-founder and director of marketing states.
GMFC, A nonprofit that helps less fortunate children in Africa and Asia and has added 21 precious children to their website from Nepal that desperately need child sponsors. They offer individuals an opportunity to sponsor a child for just $1 a day. This provides the child and community with food, clean water, clothes, medicine, education and spiritual nurture.
GMFC serves everyone and does not discriminate against any individual by reason of religion, age, disability, race, color, ethnicity, gender, national origin or socioeconomic status. They are the only relief organization in the areas they serve. There is no running water, no electricity and no hope except for our fulltime missionaries and they desperately need the help of caring generous people. James states “$1 a day does not seem like a lot of money to the people in the United States but it literally saves lives as most diseases that are killing tens of thousands of children daily can be cured for just a few dollars.
GMFC is personally funded by the board of directors and 100% of all donations go directly to the mission fields. Not one person receives a penny in salary; this differentiates them from almost any other nonprofit. They have done vast research regarding other “nonprofits” and found out that most of them pay hundreds of thousands and some cases over a million dollars to each employee to run the organization. Pastor Wilson Westphal, co-founder and lead Pastor of GMFC and The Church of the Restoration in Newburyport, MA, states “we believe a nonprofit should, for the most part, acquire volunteers and employees that will get a fair salary not a salary that makes in the top 1% income earners in the US.”
GMFC is a Christian nonprofit that offers individuals the opportunity to sponsor a child of their choosing for just $1 a day. They serve all faiths, colors, creeds with no exceptions. The donations are pooled together and provide children and communities with necessities like clean water, medicine, food, education, spiritual nurture and hope for the very first time in their entire lives. They have 6 full time missionaries on the Island of Uno. A remote island off the coast of Guinea Bissau and is the 6th poorest Country in the world.
GMFC feeds and medicated between 10-40 people per day out of a small, unsterilized, medical room they built. They have built 6 schools that educate 465 children from kindergarten through the 5th grade. They have also built 6 churched where they worship the Lord Jesus and teach the villagers the “Good News” of God. The missionaries arrived on the island 8 ½ years ago with their 1 year old son what they witnessed was simply unbelievable. 4 other fulltime missionaries arrived on the island over the last 5 years. GMFC just expanded their reach to a nearby island named Formosa.
